General Medical Camp: Nurturing Wellness, One Community at a Time
In the quest of well-being, healthcare is an unchanging foundation. Annai Therasa Social Works Association recognized this fundamental reality, and our dedication of promoting wellbeing is reflected in all our General Medical Camps. This sector represents our commitment to improve lives, building stronger & healthier communities to have long life.
Primary Health Care (PHC) Centre
We initiated to start a Primary Health Care Centre (PHC) in 2 to 3 target communities to help people have access to medical facilities. Doctors were invited from local resources at the initial stages, and then collaborated with local and government health departments to have medical personnel assistance to help these people with daily ailments, regular screening to prevent all preventable diseases. Everyday 70 people are screened as out-patients (OP) and guided to have correct treatment. Thus so far, more than 1,93,600 people have been benefited through PHC.
The activities in this sector have impacted more than 25000 individuals. These camps are more than just medical check-ups; they symbolize avenues to overall health. Within their limits, we provide full free consultations, diagnoses, and treatments, reaffirming our conviction in the interconnectedness of health and quality of life.
We go beyond limits to make care accessible; our camps educate people about preventative actions and early detection. Interactive seminars and educational sessions teach communities how to actively protect their health, fostering a culture of proactive well-being.
