Annai Therasa Social Works Association took a bold decision in 1999 to establish a haven for under priviledged children christening its residential home as “Happy Children’s Home”. A Humble beginning admist the challenges have been forgotten through sincere & committed staffs’ efforts benefitting nearly 4387 marginalized children. Our goal was modest but profound: to break the cycle of their parents’ struggles and to provide a brighter future for these innocent souls. Children “FEEL HOME”, witness love, care satisfied with their needs and thirsts. Over time, we extended our doors with open arms welcomewelcoming children from all parts of India. Government childrens department happily coloborated with us to transform the lives of these children.
At present 58 boys and 69 girls reside with us in separate homes enjoying “Fullness of Life” having best possible access to health, education, portable drinking water, sanitation, shelter and physical fitness.
We prioritize their health, education, and general development.
Education Beyond Boundaries
Our children receive a balanced diet and special attention for healthy development. We enroll them in renowned schools and offer after-school tutoring to improve weak subjects. We encourage them to dream big and succeed academically. Regularly monitored, they move to the next grade. We are here to help those who completed upper secondary school.

Special Day Celebrations
Celebrations like Pongal, Deepavali, Ramzan, Tamil/Telugu New Year’s day, and Christmas bring joy to our path. Philanthropists occasionally attend these events, offering food, love, and affection. Special day celebrations like Independence Day, Republic Day, Ghandhi Jayanthi, Children’s Day, May Day, and Flag Day commemorate our country’s pride and patriotism.
Showcasing hidden talents
Apart from academics, we encourage extracurricular activities such as drawing, on spot topics, dancing, extempore and sports to have healthy minds and physical fitness. We encourage family bonding allowing children to visit their parents once in a month. Visitors from many walks of life visit our home, lured by our reputation and convenient location.
