Women Empowerment
 

The “Empowerment of Dalit and Tribal Women” is a beacon of change, focused on uplifting women from oppressed communities using a multifaceted strategy. We impart awareness, to have market demand employable skill development, increased leadership qualities, decision making skills to overcome all cultural barriers, to live dignified life and to have sustainable decent salary.

 

 

Women empowerment programs are conducted in 48 villages, 35 Tribal Women Sangams (Associations), 240 Women SHGs are formed with 7500 women inter connected. 6000 women know about reproduction, various health issues, importance of having nutritious food, malnourishment, 250000 benefitted through health camps.

Skill Building to create Entrepreneurship
 
  • Income Generation (IG) Trainings: To create financial independence income generation skill trainings such as garment selling, embroidery, and livestock rearing to nearly 561 women. 56 SHG’s are actively involved in IGP activities and 1259 given employable skill training. 25 Entrepreneurs emerged from training in garment selling, embroidery, livestock rearing, and more.
 
  • Creating Avenues: Armed with newfound skills, 150 women embark on entrepreneurial journeys. This includes establishing business units such as garment making & selling, embroidery and livestock raising, contributing to both personal growth and economic stability.
Leadership Development
 

 Leadership Workshops: Leadership skill trainings, workshops, and exposure to successful women leaders given to women who are not allowed to go out of their houses for decades. They were motivated & encouraged to come forward to lead the community by holding government leadership posts, the patient wait and perseverance paid dividends when women assumed posts of 27 Panchayat leaders, 19 Ward Members and 3 Council Members. We were able to see the vibrant leadership skills, decision making skills through their term. They were able to find a solution for their own problems.
